Seen from the Czech Republic, entering a market is a line in a register of medical aids. Seen by a family considering an all-terrain chair for their child, it looks entirely different. They need someone who speaks their language, knows how things work locally and can bring a chair round for a demonstration. For the whole DACH region, that someone is MERTENS GmbH.
Who is behind it
Mertens is based in Eschlkam in Bavaria, a short drive from the Czech border. The representation is led by two women who do this work with a genuine passion for helping others, and it shows in the results.
What they do for families
A representation is more than an address on an invoice. Mertens covers the whole path from the first enquiry to handover:
- advice on model and size based on age, height and diagnosis
- test rides, so the family tries the chair before deciding
- handover of the individually adjusted chair
- service and spare parts afterwards
Where to find them
German-speaking families are in the best of hands. And we are glad that in the region that matters most to us we are represented by people who genuinely care.
