Personal data processing principles under the GDPR.

I. Introduction and contact information

The website operator and personal data controller is Volter s.r.o., company ID: 290 51 886, with its registered office at Klimentská 1216/46, Nové Město, 110 00 Prague 1, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague under file no. C 163036.

These principles serve to fulfil our information obligation imposed on us by personal data protection regulations, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (the "GDPR").

Here you'll find information on the purpose, legal grounds, duration, manner and categories of your personal data we process and to whom we may pass them on. You'll also find information about your rights in connection with the processing of personal data.

More detailed information on how to exercise your rights and our contact details can be found in Article 4 of this document. Before processing your request relating to personal data protection, we have the right and at the same time the obligation to verify the identity of the applicant.

II. Personal data processing

Categories of personal data we process

Identification and authentication data (e.g. first name, surname, company, date of birth, company ID). Address and contact data (e.g. email, phone number, residence, business address). Operational data (e.g. data obtained from our mutual communication or via our website, IP address, cookies).

Information related to the subject of the contract (e.g. identification of goods or services and the method of payment). CV data in the case of job applicants. Other data (records of your person or other data you decide to provide to us).

Legal grounds for processing

Pre-contractual measures and contract performance (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Compliance with our legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Within the scope of our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). On the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

How long we process your data

We will process your data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose of processing. If we process personal data based on your consent, we will process them no longer than until the consent is withdrawn. If the purpose of processing is to fulfil a legal obligation, we process personal data for the period required by legal regulations, which is usually a maximum of 10 years.

Website visitors (cookies)

If you visit our website, we will process operational data (in particular IP addresses and cookies).

Cookies are text files containing a small amount of information that are downloaded to your device when you visit our website.

III. Provision of personal data to third parties

Your data stays with us. Nevertheless, while complying with GDPR requirements, we may involve in the processing:

External processors (IT, cloud, hosting services, accountants, advisers). Insurance companies for the handling of an insured event. Public authorities with a legal mandate.

IV. Your rights related to personal data protection

Among other things, the GDPR gives you the right to contact us and ask for information about what personal data we process about you, request access to such data and have them updated or corrected, request restriction of processing, request a copy, request erasure and, in certain cases, the right to data portability.

If you believe we are not handling your personal data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7.
